The Compact does not support common POS features like menu management, inventory management, and order management. Merchants seeking full POS features should consider Clover devices such as Station Solo, Station Duo, Mini, and Flex.
Compact can be used across many industries, but is best suited for businesses seeking a cost-effective credit card payment terminal that is streamlined, fast, and user-friendly, including: retail, quick service restaurants, salons, medical providers, professional services, and personal services.
For net-new merchants, they can only use it with the Payments Plan. For existing merchants, they can use their Compact countertop card terminal with any software plans that Clover has.
